Our cabling systems are from best of class manufacturers such as Excel, Hellermann Tyton and Connectix. All of our approved Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a standard cabling systems carry a 25 year product and application warranty backed by the manufacturer.

Our installations are designed by our in house BICSI RCDD designers and installed by our trained engineers and fully tested with the latest Fluke DSX8000 cable testers.

To complement our range of copper cabling services we can fully design and install both multi-mode and single mode multi core fibre optic cables.
Current Lan based fibre solutions are utilising OM4 grade fibre to achieve 10Gig based networks.

All our installation are terminated using the latest Fujikura 70S fusion splicer and tested with the latest Fluke fibre testers.

We are able to audit and test existing fibre optic installations and carry our maintenance and repairs to existing installations.

With the increased importance being put on the physical layer cabling of a network infrastructure it is important to understand the capabilities and integrity of your current cabling infrastructure.

This is achieved by a network cabling audit. Excel Data Services will test all of your cabling links both fibre and copper with the latest Fluke DSX8000 cable analyser which will give you an insight into the protocols your network will reliably support.

As part of the cable testing audit Excel Data Services will give you a full set of test results and site plans which will include individual test results for each fibre and copper link. This will then let you know what protocols you cabling system will support. Most network cabling audits are carried out when customers are moving into new premises and plan to use an existing cabling infrastructure or if the cabling is going to be used for voice over IP and the customer requires the security that the additional cable pairs are working to support the POE element of the voice.
